Good Bye to Consul General Andreas Launer

The board and the special advisors of the Austrian-American Council West met for
a reception to say good bye to Consul General Andreas Launer. He was presented with the
AACW Recognition Award for his support and participation in Council activities and his known high regard for the accomplishments of the Board and membership.

Austrian American Day Gala

Celebrating Austrian-American Day together with the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Austrian-American Councils of North America and introducing "A Legacy of Benevolence" for SOS Children's Villages in California. A major gift was granted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Huntington Hospital, Pasadena as this year's traditional Austrian-American Day award.
