Austrian-American Day & Annual Award

Los Angeles, September, 2013

The Austrian-American Council West has created an Annual Award.
This award is composed of patron donations and the net proceeds from our events together with a gift from the Council itself. Every year, a nonprofit is carefully selected;
the majority of these organizations are dedicated to helping children with
special needs. We have contributed to many worthy organizations over the years.

Our Council decided this year to match the donations of our generous patrons
and was very pleased to present a check for $12,000 to The Auxiliary of the
Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children.
