Celebrating the commencement of a perpetual scholarship endowment
in honor of the friendship between Austria and the United States
benefiting this year the Colburn School of Music.

In October the Austrian-American Council West delivers a check of $1,500
to Sister Anne Lanh Tran, Director of the Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women
and Children at the Forget-me-not Luncheon at the Wilshire Country Club.
The council has been supportive of the Center for many years.

Shriners Hospitals for Children in Pasadena invited members and friends of the council to a special, behind-the-scenes tour of the Rose Float Plaza which included among 16 others the Shriners Hospitals for Children float.
